EXCURSION TO MT.  POPA

After Breakfast, take a drive to Southeast of Bagan to visit Mt.Popa- extinct volcano ,  center of Spirit and  Wizards  worshippers in Myanmar. Make a stop at  Toddy Palms plantation to see the process of making jaggery nuts and palm liquor. When arrive at Mt.Popa ,instead of taking the main mountain ,you’re to visit the plateau-separate part of Mt.Popa due to eruption millions of years ago.

AfTer breakfast,drive to Sale is not exactly scenic drive but it’ll be a welcoming change of scenery for people who spend most of their time in urban areas. Sale is located over 60 Km distance from Bagan. It was the birthplace of famous 19th century playwright- Sale U Pon Nya. Sale Yoke Sone Kyaung is the most famous attraction in Sale. Other minor attractions are Lacquer Buddha Image ,market and colonial time buildings. Continue to Mount Popa-extinct volcano , center of Spirit and  Wizards  worshippers in Myanmar. Climb the 777 steps to reach the top of plateau and enjoy the view of surrounding area.  Then drive back to Bagan.
